Quantum nanotechnology is grounded around the principle of electron tunnelling. The basic proposition is that a particle confined to a one-dimensional box cannot escape unless the electron subways its way out of the confinement. This is a phenomenon only displayed by quantum accoutrements and isn't seen with any bulk accoutrements.
